Astrum Entertainment announces new CEO

Game publisher and developer Astrum Entertainment announces changes in the company’s top management. Alexey Izotov has become the new CEO of Astrum Entertainment. Sergey Efremov, the current CEO of the company, will take up the role of COO.

Astrum Entertainment's portfolio includes such games as Atomic Heart, Warface, Perfect World, Lost Ark, Battle Teams 2, and others. The average MAU of the company's products is over 1 million players, and the total number of registrations has exceeded 110 million users since the beginning of the year. Over the past six months, Astrum Entertainment has successfully established all necessary processes and infrastructure, significantly strengthened its team, and defined long-term development plans. The company's future strategy will be focused on the development of current projects and active expansion of its game portfolio, also through new international licenses, including the markets of China and South Korea.

Alexey Izotov has many years of experience in the Russian market in the field of game publishing, including leading positions. He started his career in the gaming industry in 2008. Alexey occupied key positions in the gaming block of Mail.ru Group, including Head of game publishing and development for PCs and consoles. In each of his roles, Alexey took part in bringing large gaming projects to the market and gained extensive experience working with foreign partners, including those from Asian countries. Alexey also worked with such gaming industry leaders as NetEase, Smilegate, Booming Games, and many others.
