Summer Heats Up in Warface with the Shining Depths Event and Big Russian Boss

The second summer event introduces the Lagoon weapon series, the revamped Capture PvP mode, new contracts, and exclusive Big Russian Boss rewards.
Publisher and developer Astrum Entertainment has launched a new in-game event for the tactical shooter Warface. As summer heats up, players can enjoy a refreshed version of the Capture PvP mode, the new Lagoon weapon series, and a collaboration with Big Russian Boss featuring exclusive charms and patches.
By completing a special contract, players can unlock exclusive achievements and collectible charms designed in the signature style of Big Russian Boss, who has joined Warface to bring exclusive rewards for the most dedicated players.
The refreshed Capture PvP mode delivers faster-paced matches. The attacking team must seize missile launch codes and deliver them to its base, while the defending team holds its ground until the round ends. Teams switch sides after each round, and the first team to earn three points wins the match.
The mode also introduces an MVP screen and special match modifiers that limit available equipment. Depending on the match, players may fight without grenades, without primary weapons, or even with knives only, encouraging new tactics and varied gameplay. Battles take place across three maps: Construction, Deposit, and Shelter.
By participating in the event, players can collect special cards and exchange them for rewards. The highlight is the new Lagoon weapon series, featuring the MSBS Radon, Kral Arms Compact, Micro-Roni, Browning Safari, and Butterfly Knife. The event shop also offers four golden weapons: the FB MSBS Grot, Fostech Origin-12, Desert Tech MDR-C, and Barrett MRAD Mk22.
Completing event contracts allows players to earn even more rewards, including Black Market Coins, Reputation Points, and a unique set of achievements unlocked through progression.
The Shining Depths event is now live on Astrum Play, Steam, and VK.Play.
