The heat rises in Warface as the new summer season, Crimson Sun, goes live. Players can enjoy a new Battle Pass, earn fresh PvE and PvP rewards, check out weapon improvements, and take part in a packed lineup of seasonal events.

Publisher and developer Astrum Entertainment has launched the latest update for the tactical shooter Warface. The new season, Crimson Sun, introduces updates to core game systems, including Ranked Matches, the Battle Pass, PvE and PvP content, and the weapon meta, alongside new events and technical improvements.

The season brings several technical upgrades. A new detailed damage counter now shows hit statistics at the end of each round, including total damage dealt and body-part hit distribution. Ranked Matches now feature expanded league integration, with rank information displayed across recent players, match results, post-match screens, and gear selection menus. The game launches faster, while key player stats are now gathered in a single interface. Players can additionally customize the mini map scale and transparency settings. Support for AMD Radeon™ Anti-Lag technology has also been added to reduce latency and improve responsiveness.

The new summer Battle Pass features rewards from the Nomad and Bedouin weapon series. By progressing through the levels, players can unlock camouflages, tokens, stickers, charms, and exclusive achievements. PvE content has also been expanded. Completing missions and Special Operations rewards players with Crowns that can be exchanged for prizes, including the Sheikh weapon series, part boxes, character skins, and items from previous seasons.

Ranked Matches now offer additional seasonal rewards, including the Silver Scorpion camouflage for the Viking DE, a kunai knife, gloves, and a sticker set. The new Prestige Season also offers boosters, parts, and four golden weapon options: the MPAR-556, MAG-7, Taurus CT9 G2, and ATA ARMS Turqua.

Additionally, the developers have updated the weapon meta. The Lupara, Cobray Striker, and Steyr Scout — including their Special versions — have received buffs to bring them in line with current top-tier weapons.

More content is on the way throughout the summer. Players will soon meet the new seasonal agent Sukhoy, equipped with the SI PS90 from the Desert Phantom series, alongside the upcoming agent Mirage and their unique content. The seasonal event Golden Trail will also arrive soon, featuring the PvP mode Brawl and rewards from the Nugget series, including golden weapons, a kiridashi knife, and other valuable items.

To celebrate the season launch, the Warface Summer Raffle is now live. Players can complete daily tasks, earn tickets, and exchange them for weapons, character skins, boosters, and exclusive achievements. The event brings a laid-back summer atmosphere inspired by countryside vacations, apple trees, and cozy dacha vibes.

Warface is available on Astrum Play, Steam and VK.Play.
