Warface kicks off its 14th anniversary celebration, introducing the standalone PvP mode Challenge, the Legacy event featuring the Heist mode, a dedicated promo page packed with rewards, and a lineup of esports tournaments.

Publisher and developer Astrum Entertainment is celebrating the 14th anniversary of the tactical shooter Warface. To mark the milestone, the game offers players a wide range of new content, including the Legacy event with the Heist mode, the new PvP experience Challenge, the arrival of the legendary agent Noda, and a lineup of esports tournaments. In addition, a special promo page offers rewards, a duck hunt mini-game, a prize wheel, and more.

Created specifically for the game’s anniversary, Challenge is a standalone PvP mode inspired by classic Warface experience. Rank progression is unified, while league progression is separate — players start from scratch and climb the ladder within the mode. The gameplay emphasizes skill: higher time-to-kill, recoil control, and shooting precision make every decision matter. A single mistake can cost the match, but strong tactics and experience can turn the tide. All classes use a fixed set of armor, weapons, grenades, and devices, while character customization features the MBE-2 Exoskeleton series.

The anniversary event Legacy introduces the PvP mode Heist, where teams compete to collect gold bars and deliver them to extraction points, racing to outscore their opponents. Matches take place in 6v6 format across the maps Destination, Facility D17, and a refreshed, decorated version of Palace.

By participating in Legacy, players can earn event currency for PvP matches, PvE missions, and contracts, and later exchange it for rewards in the event shop. The rewards include the Legacy weapon series featuring Type 97, USAS-12, SIG MPX SBR Custom, AX308, and Karambit. Players can also unlock Legacy gloves, unique achievements, and other exclusive items. The celebration features a lineup of esports tournaments, also titled Legacy, held across three divisions: Plant the Bomb, Arsenal, and Special Operations. The first two are open to all players, and the Plant the Bomb division will see bloggers and esports players compete in the Challenge mode to determine the strongest team.

On the dedicated promo page, players can claim login rewards, take part in a duck hunting mini-game, and spin a prize wheel. Daily participation grants additional attempts and chances to win rewards, including gold weapons and exclusive achievements.

The celebration continues with social media activities, the arrival of the new legendary agent Noda, and additional festive events.

And last but not least, make sure to check out the special anniversary video from the development team!

Warface is available on VK.Play, Steam, and Astrum Play.
