Astrum Entertainment, the game’s developer and publisher, announces the start of the winter season Bastion. The update is headlined by the two-part special operation Citadel, new additions to the in-game arsenal, the return of the Snow Bastion missions to rotation, new PvE and ranked rewards, a fresh battle pass, and an overhauled weapon progression system.

ㅤㅤ

The events of Citadel and Citadel: Salvation unfold at the Labyrinth base, where General Lee Wharton is being held prisoner. Players will travel to a grim fortress city on an island in Northern Europe, crossing a suspension bridge and navigating prison catacombs while fighting Labyrinth forces and other unknown but dangerous enemies.

The first part of the special operation is a team assault led by the Delta squad. The second part is a solo Campaign mission played as General Wharton, who must escape captivity through dark, hidden tunnels and confront a traitor. Players will discover easter eggs and secret achievements along the way.

This season introduces ASh-12, a large-caliber assault rifle firing powerful rounds that stagger enemies but lack long-range penetration and do not deal friendly fire. Thanks to multiple ammo types, the weapon can be adapted for various close-quarters roles. Fans will also welcome the return of classic weapons: M249 Para, Fabarm XLR5 Prestige, Micro-Roni, and S&W M&P R8 have been upgraded to match the current weapon meta.

The seasonal battle pass offers several striking collections obtainable for crowns, including the Stained Glass and Enchantment series, as well as the elegant Masverk skins. Prestige levels unlock four golden weapon models alongside additional achievements and boosters.

The weapon progression system has also seen major improvements. Mod slots have been removed, and all modifications now apply simultaneously, opening up far more tactical combinations. Weapons within the new meta can now grow indefinitely: after reaching level 100, they can be further upgraded without limits, gradually collecting parts and enhancing your favorite gear.

The winter season is already available on VK.Play, Steam and Astrum Play.
