Warface is launching a major new event, Bright Past, created in collaboration with Atomic Heart. Players can look forward to fast-paced battles in the PvP mode Loot, the themed map Atomgrad, the iconic polymer glove from Atomic Heart, and the return of Major Nechaev.

Publisher and developer Astrum Entertainment has announced the start of the new autumn event Bright Past. Two legendary shooters — Warface and Atomic Heart — have joined forces to immerse players in the atmosphere of an alternative, retro-futuristic and robot-filled Soviet Union.

The new Atomgrad map not only fully captures the look and feel of Facility 3826 from Atomic Heart, but also features themed objects and characters, including NORA and other robots. Players will also hear the original soundtrack from the game at the start of each match. Atomgrad is available in the PvP modes Bomb and Loot.

Fans of sci-fi and the Atomic Heart universe will find a special treat — the polymer glove complete with its signature animation: an electric discharge. Based on the glove, three class-specific gadgets have been added as well — for Riflemen, Medics, and Engineers — each with its own unique animation, including a round of rock-paper-scissors. In addition, Major Nechaev returns to the game as a Rifleman with his legendary melee weapon, Zvezdochka.

Participants of the Bright Past event can enjoy the PvP mode Loot, where teams fight for dominance over ingot generation points. The goal is to collect ingots from safes or loot them from enemies, then deposit them at special turn-in stations. The winning team is the first to reach the required number of ingots — or simply the one with the most points by the end of the round. Battles take place on the maps Atomgrad, Bridges 2037, and Destination.

By taking part in the event and earning event currency, players can unlock Argentum-series camouflages for AK-12, Saiga-12S, AMB-17, and OTs-48K MK2.

The event is now live on VK.Play, Steam, and Astrum Play.
