Astrum Entertainment Announces Start of Alpha Test of Team Arena Shooter NCORE

As part of the first alpha test, players will try on the role of real gladiators of the future, and also test the unique mechanics of a reconfigurable multi-arena and transformable weapons.

Astrum Entertainment announced the date of the alpha test for the free PvPvE shooter NCORE. Testing will begin on March 20, 2025 and will be limited in time. The game is currently in development, and the first alpha test will help collect feedback from players, which will be taken into account during the further work on the game. The release of the project is scheduled for 2025.

NCORE will offer innovative gameplay that combines high dynamics typical for an arena shooter, as well as freedom of movement and exploration from battle royale. Characters will be able to travel to the distant future where megacorporations are wielding power over the world and waging an endless arms race. Amidst endless crises, a forgotten form of entertainment makes a comeback: gladiator battles can earn players fame as well as the main currency of the new world — influence.

Key features of NCORE:

Reconfigurable multi-arena consisting of hexes that you can move between during the match. Each hex is a separate world with its own unique setting, loot, and enemies. Players will visit the trenches of World War I, see America during a zombie apocalypse, and fight in stone castles of the Middle Ages. The arena is completely rebuilt several times during the match, forcing participants to adapt to new conditions.

Transformable weapons that instantly change the attack mode from ranged to close and vice versa depending on the situation on the battlefield. Thus, an assault rifle can turn into a heavy mace, a shotgun into a one-handed sword, and a pistol into deadly claws.

PvPvE gameplay. Players will experience dynamic battles with teams, arena guards, and bosses in one match.

The alpha test will be available to a limited number of participants. Players who apply before others will get an exclusive opportunity to be the first to try out the innovative mechanics of the game, as well as influence its development.
