Battle Teams 2 open beta testing is on

Team shooter Battle Teams 2 by the Wizard Games studio has moved to the stage of open beta testing which everyone can take part in on VK Play. Battle Teams 2 is available in Russian language for PC players from Russia and the CIS countries.

At the start of the open beta testing (OBT), 13 maps, 6 characters, and dozens of weapon models with multiple customization options are presented. Players can already take part in dynamic team battles in such modes as Team Deathmatch, Plant the Bomb, Destruction, Close Encounters, Sniper Battle, as well as try a large-scale battle royale in the Bounty mode. Along with the launch of OBT, the first ranked season Path to Glory has started; it provides rewards not only for moving up in ranks, but also for participation in an additional seasonal activity.

From January to March, there were several stages of closed beta testing to check the technical aspects of the game, capacity of the servers, and localisation, as well as to explore the interest of players to various in-game modes. In addition, optimization was massively enhanced, and advanced graphics settings from basic to cutting-edge allow to run Battle Teams 2 on most PCs.

The developers from Wizard Games will continue to collect players’ feedback within the OBT period, during which new modes, maps, characters, as well as a decent number of weapon models will be presented. In the future, there will also be PvE missions that reveal the lore details of Battle Teams 2.

The multiplayer shooter Battle Teams 2 was released in China last year and immediately caught the attention of gamers around the world, yet remained inaccessible to many due to zero localization and remote servers.
