Astrum Entertainment announces a new Warface esports season with more than a 33 million-ruble prize fund

The company has announced a new format for the esports tournament Warface Astrum League 2024 which takes place from March 2 to December 15. Among the major new features are an increased prize fund, independent leagues, and new regulations.

Publisher and developer Astrum Entertainment presents Astrum League — a tournament series with a new league system that replaces the usual WF PRO:

  • The tournament consists of three seasons and the final tournament of the year. Each season ends with a LAN final, and the league has a grand final at the end of the year;

  • The league is divided into 4 main stages and 2 independent ones. The main ones include: Astrum Beginners League (ABL) — competitions for beginners, Astrum Contenders League (ACL) — competitions for players aspiring to be in the professional league (APL), Astrum Professional League (APL), and Astrum League Final — the final part of the season for the four best teams. Among the independent stages there are: Astrum Valkyries League (AVL) — women's competitions with a prize fund of 700,000 rubles, and Astrum Junior League (AJL) — an analogue of the amateur tournament Fast Cup;

  • The total prize fund has been increased to 33,400,000 rubles, and in the first season it will be 7,800,000 rubles. Also, during the season, all APL teams will be rewarded with monetary prizes (16 places);

  • During the seasons, teams earn WTP — Warface tournament points; their value is based on places taken in Astrum League tournaments. The higher the WTP number, the higher the team is in the ranking. The league system is built around team ranking, which is the key factor for receiving invitations to the tournament of the year.

The organizer of Astrum League 2024 has prepared many gifts for viewers, including drops, updated prizes from the promo page, and other surprises.

Astrum Junior League

A roadmap of tournaments for the entire year has been announced for Astrum League 2024, which will allow players to fully see the scale of esports in Warface. The competitions will take place on the tournament server, and players will have access to the most popular and meta weapons in regular and gold versions.

On February 16, registration for the Astrum Junior League tournament opened; it replaced the amateur tournament Fast Cup. Its prize fund was topped up with a reward of 300,000 rubles: 200,000 will go to the tournament champion, another 100,000 — to the silver medalists. The first competitions within Astrum Junior League will be held on March 2 and 3, and registration will be available until 12:00 Moscow time on March 1. All matches will be held in Single Elimination (Bo3) format.

Registration is available to all players, except for participants in the Champions stage of the tournament seasons: PRO.Spring 2023, PRO.Summer 2023 and PRO.Fall 2023, as well as LAN finalists of Warface VK Play Cup of the first and second seasons.
